Opinion:


There`s always something special when it comes to Monique Musique and its sublabel, Monique Speciale. The canadian label always brought good music to the table, and this EP demonstrates this thing again. It marks the first appearance of Dave Rosario on the label, and brings 3 original songs and one dub mix.
Beyond the slick and irresistible bass-line of The Act, there is a very original melody, with a lot of interesting elements. Together, they make a track that will definitely rock the dancefloor. But wait, there`s more good stuff coming. Brooklyn Moonlight still resides in the realm of tech-house, but borrows more elements from the house genre. Add some jazz sounds and you get this song. Patience is the perfect ending for the EP, going the other way and borrowing more influence from techno and deep-house.
