Opinion:
I`ve seen Guti play live on NYE and I became fond of his producer skills. This talented man released his work in the famous record labels Desolat, Wolf+Lamb, Cadenza, Monique Musique & Crosstown Rebels. Now it is the turn of Defected, and Guti paired with Luca Bacchetti to create this wonderful 2 track EP.
High quality house. Those 3 words characterize shortly this release. A bit of tribal house is present through the looped vocals of Esa Nena Quiere, and we remember the piano sounds used in Salson, the track Guti created together with Damian Schwart, present on Loco Dice`s compilation, The Lab 01 (my review of it is here). All of this seasoned with witty (as Jack Sparrow would say) basslines and strong drums. Steve Lawler will defined enjoy this :) As do all house fans (like myself). Recommended!!!
